Education is key and there’s no better way to understand and learn then from real people who changed their lives for the better with vaping.

"I smoked for 25 years, no real success at quitting regardless of what I tried. I picked up vaping 2 years ago and it took 4 months to get away from a two pack a day smoker. I did not get a pod system i got an actual vape box mod and tank, well several tanks because it was easier to fill 5 tanks than try swapping flavors in one or 2 tanks. In those two years I went from 6 mg to 0 mg have no cravings for smokes, cloves or cigars. But I cannot seem to put down my 0 nic vape yet. And I am unsure of why that is. For me personally, it helped me 100% to quit smoking cigarettes and quit nicotine. But if i had to do it without different flavors I would have just gone back to cigarettes and failing to quit. Sorry for the grammar and other “ spbellin errers “ "

"THANK YOU for sharing this information! All this hype has come forward so quickly, I’ve definitely been one of the people with anxiety about it! I smoked for 30+ years and had tried everything to quit. It wasn’t until I started vaping that I was able to put it down. I started at 18% three years ago, and I’m now down to 3%. I do want to get to 0%, but STILL want to continue vaping, even after my nicotine addiction is gone! I enjoy it! It makes absolutely ZERO sense to stop an adult from making their own decision whether to vape or not, when they are still allowing cigarettes to be purchased! I completely agree with safety regulations or age restrictions, but to ban it completely, especially so quickly, isn’t right! Thanks again for the info!"

from Kelly

"I smoked for 31 years, and on January 24th 2013, I started to vape. I haven’t had a cigarette since, coming up on 7 years. I tried all kinds of ways to quit, nothing worked, except vaping. I’ve never had any issues from vaping. These kids today are using all kinds of things to vape, and that is what’s causing these medical issues with their lungs."

from Froglady507

"I haven’t smoked a cigarette since March 10th, 2017. All thanks to vaping! I started at 18mg of nicotine I am now down to 3mg of nicotine. Since starting to vape I immediately felt my body healing from the damage of smoking cigarettes for 10 plus years. I first vaped the nicotine flavors, over time switching to fruity flavors. From what I have been reading about the recent vaping lung issues, and deaths it seems like most of them were purchasing tampered with THC cartridges from people on the street. Why should they punish adult vapors? I agree with age restrictions. I don’t think kids should be vaping. I don’t see why they would ban vaping when all things considered it is still better for your health compared to disgusting cigarettes. I just had to put my two cents in!"

from Jane Kirkpatrick

"I had been smoking Kool for 50+ years and hand no desire to quit. Less than 2 months after retirement, I had my first stroke and the neurologist told me I had to quit cold turkey but not to let my blood pressure go above 140. I tried but my anxiety caused my blood pressure to jump to 175-185 so I knew that was only making things worse. My son got me what was needed to start vaping and by the third day I couldn’t stand the taste of menthol cigarettes. That was over 2 years ago and my health is great and my blood pressure stars around 100, my neurologist is thrilled."

from Rita Andies

"I was a smoker for 35 years, at a pack a day. I had diagnosed COPD but thill couldn’t quit with patches, gum or prescription drugs. My wonderful daughter in-law introduced me to vaping. I made the change from cigarettes to vaping effortlessly. I have been vaping since 2010 and get sick at my stomach just smelling cigarette smoke. My COPD has NOT advanced one bit, proven through medical tests taken yearly. My Pulmonary doctor knows my history and that I currently vape. He has told me that nicotine is no worse for you than caffeine, it’s the other stuff in cigarettes that kills. Since beginning vaping, I regained my sense of smell and taste. I no longer have the hacking smoker cough, I feel good when I wake up, something I never felt while smoking cigarettes. Anyone that thinks we vape because of the sweet flavors is clearly and idiot. Sorry President Trump and wife, but you know nothing. I’ve been there and done that. Buy from you juice a legitimate dealer ( like VaporDNA ) and you’ll be OK."

from Patricia Fowler

"I smoked for 35 years, and cigarettes were killing me I coughed all the time to the point of throwing up. I stopped smoking 4 years ago with vaping and I had tried everything else out there to stop before and couldn’t do it. Yes I use the fruit flavors, because the tobacco flavored e-liquid does not taste like a real cigarette. At first I wanted the cigarette taste but couldn’t stand the cigarette e-liquid so I tried the fruit flavors and now I don’t want to taste the real cigarette anymore. The various flavors play a role in stopping smoking with vaping. I am down to 3mg and hope to go to 0mg and stop vaping also. I think the fruit flavors help to stop smoking because it makes you realize how bad cigarettes taste and smell, plus giving the nicotine to help. If used the right way vaping is the greatest thing to help smokers stop and it does improve our health. If you ban flavors then some will have no option but to maybe buy from people e-liquid on the black market…. Then we would not know what is in it for sure and that will the situation worse just like the problem with the THC cartridges causing sickness and death. A ban will not stop the black market from making it, all it will cause is a bigger black market for e-liquid, put companies out of business and hurt former smokers and that is not fair at all. A ban is not the answer, I am proof that vaping the right way is safe. I hope you will take former smokers into consideration while making decisions that could change our lives for the worse. Thank You"

from Tami Halliday

"I smoked for 30 years or more I switched to vaping 8 years ago and I haven’t looked back. I use a flavored fruit juice and I’m honestly terrified that the government is going to rid the market of them. Thereby sending me back to cigarettes or purchasing black market juices. I enjoy vaping and yes I’m addicted to nicotine. I didn’t start vaping to quit nicotine I started because it was a healthier alternative. That said I have had smoker cough in 8 years. I haven’t gotten winded running stairs in 8 years. I can breathe better and feel better. It’d be a shame to go backwards when I’ve moved forward"

from Christopher H.

"I smoked cigs for 25 years 2 packs a day; needless to say that crap was killing me; I’ve been vaping for three years now cigarette free; I could not have stopped smoking without vaping. I vape dessert flavors and fruit flavors because grown 42 yo men like that!!!! I’m a disabled Army VFW I served my country the least I can do is not be forced to smoke cigs when a clearly healthier option is available. Please do not ban my flavors because most adults do not want to vape cig flavored e-liquids!"

from Sherri White

"After smoking cigarettes for over 30 years for me and 40 for my husband we quit!!! Vaping has saved our lives. My husband coughed and could not walk a mile. After only 4 weeks of vaping he does not cough and we can go for walks without stopping to rest. We have enjoyed NYC and Vegas last year and walked for miles!!"

So please take the time to share your story as well and let our voices be heard that we will never go back to cigarettes.  We will continue to vape because it has done nothing but better our lives.  No more coughing in the early mornings, no more smelling like an ashtray after lunch and no more buying countless packs and littering the streets with cigarette butts.

We are not just a group of strangers fighting for a common cause. We are a community of friends, brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpas fighting for our right to live a healthier life.

I had my first cigarette at the age of 13 and by the time I was 15 I smoked two packs a day and kept that up until about a year ago (I’m 27 now) when I bought my first vape. I tried gum, patches, etc. Nothing worked until I finally got into vaping. I no longer smell like an ashtray and I’m not coughing my lungs up after smoking anymore. Dont let the tobacco companies ruin what we have. They’ve had their run it’s over with and vaping is the future we will not lose this.

Cigarettes killed my dad’s father, my dad’s brother, my dad, and my mom. I started smoking when I was 16. I smoked at least a pack a day for 37 years. I tried to quit many times, with gums, lozenges, patches, even a prescription medicine. Never made it through the day without a cigarette. I had resigned myself to getting sick and dying a slow, miserable death, just like the other members of my family. When e-cigs started gaining popularity, I thought I’d give it a try. After two weeks of alternating vape and smoke, I tried to cut out the smoke. I’ve been smoke free for almost 5 years now. I’ve gotten down to the lowest nicotine level so I no longer get nicotine cravings. I don’t cough up an ashtray when I wake up and, I can climb three flights of stairs without having to sit down to catch my breath. I owe my current health to this industry. The industry needs to get itself together and make tough decisions about how to proceed in the future. DON’T LET BIG TOBACCO DESTROY OR AQUIRE THIS INDUSTRY!

In 2013 I had been smoking on and off for 20 years. That spring I lost both of my grandparents and my kids went to live with my ex husband. I was so depressed, I went from a 4 or 5 cigarettes a day to a pack a day habit of Camel Lights. Late that summer, my husband bought me my first e-cigarette and I haven’t looked back. I literally went from smoking a pack a day to zero cigarettes the moment I took my first drag off the e-cig. I’ve gone through multiple different kinds of e-cigs from the ones that came with the flavor in the top that you just threw away when the flavor ran out, to box mods and even a pen e-cig. I started at the highest nicotine level I could get and I’ve gone down to a 6mg nicotine level. I’m not sure I’ll ever go down to a 0mg, but I wouldn’t put it past me. I have never enjoyed the tobacco flavors and if and e-cig I bought cake with that flavor, I just tossed it. I was paying $15-$20 a day on cigarettes and really couldn’t afford it. I also had to go outside to smoke and when you live in a cold state like I do, Minnesota, that gets really old in the winter. I don’t miss freezing my butt off just to have a cigarette. I don’t miss coming back into the house and brushing my teeth and washing my hands and putting perfume on just so I wouldn’t smell like an ashtray. Personally, I LOVE the fruity and dessert flavored liquids. I honestly don’t believe e-cig companies are targeting underage children with the flavors they are marketing. I’m a young 43 year old mother who only smokes fruity and dessert flavored liquids. If you ban those, I will buy them wherever I can get them and that means I most likely will not be able to get the liquids that are highest percentages of vegetable glycerin. I won’t know what is going on my body because it won’t have any kind of regulation. What’s even more impressive, is how the e-cigs have affected my husband. He has never been a cigarette smoker, but he did have a disgusting habit of chewing tobacco. Once he saw how easy it was for me to quit smoking cigarettes, he decided to try an e-cig for himself. Now, he hasn’t been able to completely kick the chewing habit, but he has cut back considerably. He went from a tin of Copenhagen a day, to once a week. Even though he’s a 52 year old man, he also smokes the dessert flavors. His latest favorite is French Vanilla Cheesecake. I just wonder what kind of delusion the people considering placing a ban on flavored liquids are under. When has prohibition ever worked? The people that have come down with an “illness” from vaping, all had one thing in common. They have vaped something with THC in it. Why would you punish the mass, for the mistakes of the few? We are adults and we can make informed decisions for ourselves. We don’t need big brother making choices for us. As far as underage kids vaping, that sounds to me like a parenting problem because I know that when I buy my supplies, my age is verified before I can purchase anything. Some states also require someone over the age of 18 to sign for the package when it arrives. Honestly, if underage kids are vaping, is it really that big of a deal? Wouldn’t you rather see the vaping than smoking cigarettes? I know I would. There are always going to be a few that ruin it for everyone else. Please don’t punish the rest of us.

My wife & I transitioned from a multi-decade smoking habit to vaping, thanks to my son. We are six years out, can breathe again and are saving a ton of money. We both effortlessly switched from cigarettes to vaping and have gone from 18mg nicotine to 3mg. We had both tried quitting using prescriptions and cold turkey, but eventually started smoking again.
What we believe strongly kept us off cigarettes were all the delicious flavors of e liquid available. Neither of us use tobacco flavored liquids, but mainly fruits and desserts. Improvements in our health were swift and lasting, as confirmed by our doctor. We respect non-smokers & don’t vape around them, or children. The thought of a flavor ban is unconscionable due to the negative impact it will have on both the vaping industry and we users. A knee jerk reaction by government would cause more problems than it would solve. Regulation is ok if done thoughtfully. Big Tobacco has already had its run. It’s time for the already proven, less harmful alternative to prevail!

I smoked for 19 years. 2 packs a day of wide menthols. Long story short, cigarettes are disgusting now, I love fruity vape juice, and we deserve to have access to the tool/juices that saved our lives. Big tobacco is missing my $12/day or more habit! They can disappear!

I’ve been a moderate smoker since I was 20 now I’m 45 and have smoked away my money and my health for almost 20 years although last spring March 2018 the be exact I bought a tsunami quake vape that I still use today I haven’t smoked a pack of smokes in 14 months I’m down to 0 or 3 mg of nicotene depending on the day..if they ban flavored ejuice it will just help people including me to smoke again possibly….plus shut down at least 3 privately owned vape stores in our small town…just doesn’t make sense president Trump…your suppose to m.a.g.a not put us in withdrawal

Thanks vapor dna. Hope more companies reach out like this and that all these comments will be shared to out public offices.

I smoke a pack to 2 packs a day. It was very hard quitting, I might of stopped maybe 2 or 3 days at a time. Shouldn’t of listened when people told me to quit when it was easy. I have been vaping for about 6 years. And immediately I did not want to smoke anymore. I threw out my last packs because I felt reassurance and confidence that I didn’t need another cigarette.
I felt better. More blood flow in my legs. I don’t agree with underage kids vaping. It’s only for adults who want to quit smoking.
I feel there are worse things going on with are kids. Also, don’t know how they are determining that high schoolers are vaping when seriously haven’t seen kids vaping especially in a highly drug exposed inner city in the Bronx. I feel when I vape around people they often get repulsed by it not the other way around.
“Kids are vaping” where are they getting these statistics and where are they getting it from.
With anything illicit, illegal, or unhealthy its the parents job to guide their kids On what’s right or wrong and not leave it to strangers.
Hope this help clarify things and maybe this will finally unite vaping communities all around the world to help educate and not he rude while caping in public.
It’s also a wake up call to governing officials that the stronghold and power they have over us will soon be over.
We have to govern ourselves. And be smart and educated and open minded.
Thanks to anyone reading this. And again to vapor dna.
Companies that I always buy from like elementvape, eightvape, ecigcity, eciggity, vaporbeast, bradzvapor, etc ahould follow suit.
Lets make this viral.
Peace and love to all my fellow vapers.

I was a smoker over 20 years with a few months not smoking trying to quit. Most of my family was smokers as well and I’ve been around cigarette smoke since a baby. My grandmother died of cancer, my grandfather died from complications of COPD. My mom died from cancer, blood clots in her lungs and complications of COPD, my sisters have COPD, my Aunt has COPD from smoking cigarettes. The list goes on. Vaping FLAVORS has been the ONLY thing that has me not going back to smoking cigarettes. I’m proud to say, I’ve been cigarette free for just over a year. This past year has been the only year I haven’t had bronchitis in 5 years, shortness of breath, a hacking cough, coughing up tar in the morning and not smelling like a dirty ashtray, as well as my brother who introduced me to vaping. I know its from vaping with flavors and many of them. Because as everyone, we like variety. No one would like to eat bland oatmeal for the rest of their lives, why should we only vape tobacco flavors for the rest of ours.

I was a cigarette smoker for over 20 years. I’ve tried many nicotine replacements, the patch, Chantix, meditation (Wellbutrin) and gas station type electronic cigarettes. None of those helped me quit. One day I walked in my local vape shop ready to quit smoking cigarettes once and for all! The young 20 something year old store associate took his time to find the right vape device, nicotine level and flavor that was best for me. I purchased a pen stick vape, coils and a tropical fruit e juice. He helped me set up my device and also explained vape safety. I continued to smoke cigarettes but they began to taste horrible about as I adjusted to vaping. After 1 month, I almost vomited when I smoked a cigarette and I decide to quit once and for all.
I’ve been vaping for a little over a year and I must say, I feel amazing! When I smoked cigarettes I had bronchitis at least twice a year, I am a gym rat and would get winded on my spin bike and I had a horrible hacking cough, especially at night when I was sleeping. I am proud to say, since I began to vape, I not have not been sick…not even a cold. I track my workouts, and I have been breaking personal records because my strength and endurance has skyrocketed!
I am saddened about the current events in regard to vape as of late. The most frustrating part is, this is not about the health of Americans/our youth. This is a case of pure greeed! Vaping has diminished sales and revenue of big tobacco. Now that the vaping industry is a multi billion dollar business, government wants their cut. Cut out the small business, cut off vape supply and then flood the industry with Big Pharma/Big tobacco vape products. Well, I tell you one thing! Big Pharma and Big Tobacco will not get a PENNY of my money! Ever! I will fight, educate and advocate. We will not go without a fight!

I smoked for 27 years, and had my last cigarette on October 14, 2014. I started vaping after trying Chantix while smoking and tried to smother my husband with a pillow for snoring and the kids getting up made me just throw the pillow at him instead. I vape flavored because tobacco flavor makes me want a cigarette. Isn’t the whole point to quit? It’s funny that “problems” are coming up now as people started putting THC in. I have always used mods and tanks and buy from reputable sources such as VAPORDNA. Thank you for taking the time to read:)
