Bought this as a Christmas gift for my B.I.L. He has had the original version of this for a few years now and it has served him well. This new version is great with the upgraded tank section with the magnets rather than the clip in system. It conveniently has a slide lock on the body for when you want to pocket it and don't have to worry about accidental auto fire. Would be nice to be able to lock just the wattage +/-, hopefully Geek Vape will release an update to fix that.

So far so great. Only had the mod for a few days (shipping was super slow) but the pod mod has been amazing! It looks great, feels great, and tastes great. The options the chip give you are really nice. I didn't even know it came with a 5 second variable power curve setting. That was a nice surprise I somehow missed in the descriptions I read about the vape. Overall it's one of the best I've ever had. This is my first pod mod. I've had lots of different mods and tank set ups though, and also 3 different mini stick pod vape device things. So far this device has blown me away. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for a first time device to someone looking for an upgrade. I've also noticed the type, power/strength of the battery plays a major role in how it hits especially in the smart mode. Get yourself at least a set of very high watt and amp dispensing batteries. I would suggest 3 if you will be gone a long while, often enough, with out any power sources to charge tho. Overall though 2 should be more than enough. Just have one (or 2) charging while the other is in the mod and you'll never run out of battery life. When your going to be out of the house just make sure to grab the fully charged battery that's in the charger to change out if you need it or a power cord and your good to go. The only other negative, besides me owning slow batteries, I've noticed is I'm filling the tank up a lot since it's on the smaller side on capacity. Doesn't look small though it definitely is. I also like to keep it from getting too low so I don't risk getting a dry hit. Haven't had one yet so I don't know were the "too low" level is on it but I don't want to find out. Oh and another extra precaution and future failure prevention I've done is use a drop or 2 of electric hair clipper blade oil on the treading of the battery cover that you screw on and off. Not to often. Just when you notice it's getting hard to move. I figure that was the safest type since it's made for things that are electric as well as also something that goes on your face. I would only use a tiny amount. Just enough to make it easier to take the bottom piece on and off while providing some protection against the gaskets rubbing against each other constantly prolonging its lifespan, hopefully, and if done properly it won't harm the device at all. Just be smart about it if you are going to do the same.

I've had my Geek Vape Aegis Boost Pro 2 for about a week, and so far I love it! It's super lightweight, easy to use, and produces nice clouds. I replaced my old vape, the original Geek Vape Aegis, and I'm loving all the changes!
