Dovpo x Across Ethos Dual 18650 100W Boro Box Mod Kit

The Dovpo X Across Ethos Dual 18650 100W Boro Box Mod Kit is a next gen boro box mod, testing the boundaries of what a boro box mod can be. The Ethos is fairly compact considering it houses two 18650 batteries (sold separately) and a proprietary 7ml boro tank; bridging the gap between a traditional 510 threaded dual battery box mod and the AIO boro box mods many vapers have come to love.

The ergonomic shape and design of the Ethos has a familiar look and feel to veteran vapers, and provides the user with a comfortable grip when vaping. A magnetic battery access panel provides easy access to the battery compartment, while a magnetic front panel gives access to the tank housing. An ergonomically positioned firing button is incorporated into the front panel for a natural feel when pressing the firing button.

The Ethos comes with a proprietary 7ml tank with a base for using AVC/TMD/PnP/GTX coils, as well as a base for using standard boro RBA bridges. Standard boro tanks can also be used in the Ethos, leaving the user with a wide range of options.

Just what I was looking for.

Coming from the topside dual squonk mod, this was a very easy transition into the world of boro mods,the flexibility of sub ohm vaping,and being able to scratch the building itch by adding your favorite boro bridge.

Disappointing and expensive overall

It lacks an RBA and RBAs are very expensive. I bought six disposable tanks with it. I've tried two of them both were defective and burned out immediately. The sub ohm coils work. Considering that the only feature that works is sub ohm, it's not worth what I paid. The disposable tanks couldn't be more worthless.

So far so good.

Bought these specifically to run my Voltrove 1.1 RBAs. The spacious airflow and power overhead makes this a dream for this rba. I run ~.35 builds at 36-42 watts and single 18650 battery life is just bleak at best for the way I use these attys. This device may be a bit chonky but if you’ve used a “regular” mod setup before it won’t feel shocking in the hand. The closest mod I can think of to the handfeel of this is an LV Triade without the extra battery.

The stock “nut” and tip did not reach deep enough to secure the Voltrove in place, but a PRC integrated tip worked just fine. I’m probably going to look for a longer integrated tip just to give me a little extra length from the top of the device, but that’s all I would change about the way I have them current set up.

Haters gonna hate and a dual battery boro mod is weird but weird isn’t always bad. In this case I’ve been enjoying using these devices greatly!
