CBD Vape Juice is the most familiar form factors for vapers to add CBD to their daily regiment. CBD E Juice is the same as regular E juice, but CBD isolate is added instead of nicotine. CBD Vape Oil can be used as an alternative to nicotine in lower doses and provides the added benefit of being non habit forming.
Whether you’ve been vaping for years or months, the list of acronyms you need to keep track of seems to keep getting longer. Now that you’ve found the perfect PG/VG balance that works for you, it’s time to take a look at your CBD vape options. Although many of the delivery systems and devices you’ll use for a CBD vape are the same or quite similar, there are things you have to know about vaping CBD.
Cannabidiol, often referred to more colloquially as CBD, is a derivative of the cannabis plant, so it can be found in both hemp and marijuana. Don’t worry, though, CBD is a non-psychoactive compound so CBD does not get you high. The psychoactive component of cannabis is called THC, and while it does have some of its own medicinal properties, it’s an intoxicating experience that not everybody wants or needs.
But isn’t cannabis illegal?
Yes… but also no. What’s illegal is marijuana, the female version of the plant that creates an abundance of both THC and CBD when cultivated correctly. These are the plants that are legal in states where cannabis is legal recreationally, as they can serve both recreational and medical purposes.
When we’re talking about CBD, however, we’re talking about a compound that can also be found in hemp, the male version of cannabis that creates negligible levels of THC, eliminating the “high” that people might be avoiding. Hemp-derived CBD is legal in all 50 states in the US, Canada, and many European countries among other places around the globe.
What does CBD vape juice do?
CBD will not necessarily affect the buzz your used to from puffing on your vape, as it’s not a psychoactive compound, and therefore provides no “buzz.” What it can do, however, is bring about a sense of clear-headed calm that people often associate with cannabis, but without the intoxicating effects.
CBD can help with muscle pain as it contains powerful anti-inflammatory properties. People also use it to treat anxiety due to the aforementioned calming effects, and people have also used CBD to combat their migraines. Vaping CBD, as opposed to putting it in food or using it topically or transdermally, means that the CBD effects will occur much quicker as it’s much more quickly absorbed in your lungs than it would through your digestive system or skin.
Can I mix CBD with regular vape juice?
This is something that will vary from one product to the next. There are CBD additives out that you can incorporate with your everyday vape juice, but you want to make sure that the CBD was made to do that, and that the vape juice will work with a cutting agent like that.
Where do I start?
We provide a host of CBD vape juices in the VaporDNA store, so that should be your first stop now that you know if CBD is right for you. Pro tip: CBD naturally tastes a bit like cherries, so be sure to try some of the fruity vape juice blends because the CBD fits right into that flavor profile.
